Winter Looks

Updated: May 17, 2022

Check out these warm and stylish Winter Looks I came up with. Hope you like it and let me know which one was your favourite!

Add a chunky scarf over a coat

This is a great way to add some texture, colour and warmth to your winter outfit. I chose this warm, autumnal colour scheme as it complements my skin tone. Wearing my Hicks & Brown fedora hat in Cinnamon. My boucle brown coat, a wide belt is a must for this outfit as it just makes it look more pulled together, this belt is from Jaeger and yes, got it from eBay for around £8. My JW PEI moc croc bag in aubergine/brown and my Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. Love just how all accessories are different shades of aubergine. My base layers are a pair of skinny brown jeans ( Pull&Bear) and this very chunky camel jumper from H&M I've had for years.

Now, what I think really pulls this outfit together is my bright red lipstick. Such an elegant way to add a bit of colour to my pale/un-sun-kissed skin.

With a cosy duvet jacket

Now, this is the sort of cosy jacket I've been wearing most of this winter. As the name suggests, it really is like a duvet but even better as you're wearing it outside. It would be a bit weird to just wear your duvet outside, maybe one day, eh? But for now, it's socially unaccepted.

It's lightweight and very comfortable. Had it for a couple of years now (bought it from Vestiaire Collective for around £20 and it's from Malene Birger. I never really dressed this jacket up but for this post I decided to change it up a bit. Usually I'd be wearing it with jeans, trainers or casual winter boots.

This time I've styled it with my black tie leather belt (this belt came with a pair of trousers from Topshop Premium) my pom pom hat, grey jeans from H&M, black jumper, All Saints grey bag and Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. Once again, decided to add a bit of warmth and colour with my red lipstick.

With the perfect parka coat

This outfit is just pure winter coziness, all was missing was snow. Perfect for a long walk in the park, shopping trip or any outdoorsy occasion.

I've had this parka coat for years, it's from The Kooples and yes, you've guessed it, I've bought it from eBay for a bargain (£40).

I like to double coat in winter as I get cold easily, so I'm wearing this ultra light down jacket from Uniqlo, it's an absolute must and doesn't add too much bulk. I wear mine under most coats when it's really chilly outside and makes such a difference. My base layers are a cosy jumper and grey jeans.

Classic black and a pop of colour

For this look I decided to do full black but added a bit of colour and just had to go for my favourite colour :)

Love how this outfit allows this beautiful green cashmere scarf to shine.

I've kept it all pretty classic and simple but chose good quality, I believe when wearing a simple outfit, the quality of the fabric is very important. Wearing black skinny jeans, my Chanel ankle boots I bought off Vestiaire Collective for £130, a black cashmere jumper and my black cashmere coat that I bought from my local charity shop for £17.

Hope you got some winter inspiration from this post!

PS: my favourite outfit is the first one. Which one do you prefer? x
